Today's floor is for two phones. One of you starts a pair and gives the other the code.
Give your partner this code:
Today's floor needs the newest version of the game. Practice still works without it.
Every sound also shows on screen, so playing muted loses nothing.
Tap a tile to walk there, tap a monster to fight it, hold to look. Tap yourself to wait a turn, or swipe from yourself to take one step. D-pad adds arrow buttons too, and folds down to one button.
Sizes the text in the game, the log and the menus.
Or pinch the map. Moving centers it on you again.
A small map of where you've been, in the corner. Tap it for a bigger one, and tap that to walk there.
An old screen's glow, scanlines and color fringe over everything. Off is the sharpest view.
Blurs the map toward the screen's edges, sharp around you. Needs the CRT filter on.
How dark the shadows look. It never changes what you can see.

Things to try. Each one says what changed and what to look for, starts you right beside it, then asks how it went.
Nothing left to try.
Find the ladder down. Rats and bats live here, and the floor has teeth.
Tap a tile to walk there. Tap a monster next to you to fight it. Touch and hold anything to see what it is.
Walk onto a chest to look in it. Items opens your pack. The Log button shows past messages.
HP doesn't come back on its own. Draughts, bandages and food mend you, and so does the Ember Ring.
Next to a trap you've found, a Disarm button shows its odds. It takes a turn, and a miss sets the trap off on you.
Most floors have an omen, named in the status line by your HP. Tap it to see what it changes.
Die in practice and Continue? plays the floor again from its start, with a mark on you. What the floor gave you waits in a grave sack where you fell. Die again before you reach it and it's gone.
The daily floor is one attempt. Die there and the floor keeps what it gave you, most of its XP too.
Tap yourself to wait a turn (on the ladder it asks first: climb down or wait). Swipe from yourself to take one step, diagonals too. Arrow keys, W A S D, the numpad or the D-pad (Settings > Controls) step too, with Q E Z C or Home, PgUp, End and PgDn for diagonals, but never past a wall's corner. Space, the period key or numpad 5 waits a turn.
You climb down the ladder in turns.
Level , XP, gold. Your pack comes with you.
